Magenta Security has won the security contract for The Royal Parks from the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, a deal which will see the company provide its services to the parks until 2013.
The leading security services provider was first awarded the contract to provide guarding solutions to the nine parks by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in 2007, and then again in 2009.
When appointing a security provider, the park’s managers looked at all areas of the potential suppliers’ business approach. One of the main reasons Magenta’s bid was successful was because alongside its first class guarding service it met the environmental criteria of the contract through its green credentials and integrated CSR policies.
Abbey Petkar, Magenta’s managing director, comments: “Winning this business for the third time is a true demonstration of our focus on customer service and customer delivery. We’re committed to offering top quality solutions and being awarded the contract is recognition of the work we have done in maintaining standards. Our approach is customer orientated and our service has been tailor-made to meet the requirements of The Royal Park’s sites. This means we can work in partnership with the park’s management, and the Metropolitan Police, to ensure visitors get the best possible experience.”
